So... USAToday popped up with this:

The Constitution, as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court, also opposes a ban. The court has repeatedly said abortion is a private matter, subject only to reasonable regulation.

How could it say otherwise? No matter how sincere the beliefs of abortion opponents, a ban is, in the end, an attempt to impose one group's faith on others.

i doubt that i'll live to see the day when we return to the place we are now.

but one day someone will. and i have great hopes all the evil will be undone. or at least a good bit of it. i see the fissures in their holy moses rock, others will see them soon. they'll overreach, already are, and one day the pendulum will swing yet again.

hope is a wonderful thing. it keeps me going.
