Moive, I continue to stand in full salute to you and all on the front lines, dealing first hand with the tragic results of the takeover of womens lives by the rabid religious right.

To those who continue to cast a blind eye as womens basic freedons are being systematically ripped away, you can only be one of the following: a) a deliberately obtuse male, b) a younger women privileged by always having full freedoms, who cannot conceive of ever losing them, c) one of the rabidly religious yourself, or d) an American so self involved there is no ability within you to care what happens to anyone else.

May the force be with you, and all women, because we're going to need more and more of it, for a long time to come.

There are some days (to tell the whole truth, plenty of days) when what we give each other here as women and as friends is a big part of what keeps my back straight.
