The Great Armando©

The Great Armando©

Finally, I noticed more than a few bloggers who enjoyed raking Markos over the coals for his saying he was not going to sweat the "pie ad" and would concentrate on the important stuff had no blogging on Roberts today. Love that commitment to women's issues from those bloggers.

Well, guess what. This IS the important stuff. And guess again -- Markos gave me carte blanche to blog Roberts throughout the day.

I hope folks remember that when they are again tempted to attack daily kos as lacking commitment to women and their rights.

Because that is bullshit.

Oh yeah lets get some of that sterling armando commitment to women's issues. Of course if you wait a day you'll soon see the commitment only exists in his fat fucking head.

Armando sells out your reproductive rights

I just watched the press conference held by the Dem Congressional Leadership -- Sen. Reid and Rep. Pelosi, with invited guests Missisippi Democratic Congressmen Gene Taylor and Bennie Thompson, and I must say that Taylor was incredibly good. Just outstanding.

Certainly, Reid and Pelosi were fine and made good points. I did not get to see Thompson. But Taylor was off the charts good. Really unbelievably good discussing the issues. He discussed details with great intelligence and charisma. He really struck me as a guy who could make his points in common sense human terms and could lay out real understandable criticisms that would surely be meaningful to the common man. An outstanding performance.

So here is a proposal -- let Gene Taylor be the principal Democratic spokesperson for Democrats on the Katrina response by the federal government. Taylor told anecdotes that just really grabbed you. He told his stories compellingly, emotionsllly snd strongly.

Gene Taylor is a Democrats for Life All Star.

Outside of the Republican Party, there's no one worse than Gene.

Gene Taylor voted against the Davis amendment and DENIED a navy wife with a dead baby in her tummy an abortion at government expense. How's that for rewarding american servicepeople?

Gene Taylor supports federal TRAP laws. He shows us his position with his vote. This bill, written and promoted by the most vile republican woman imaginable (more on this later when post updates) is aided and abetted by Mr Taylor.

Armando supports Gene Taylor. Gene Taylor does not support your reproductive rights nor your progressive agenda. Ask yourself, does Armando really support women's issues? or does he just like to FEEL GOOD WHEN HE GOES TO BED after telling himself lies about how progressive he is?

Armando mouths about supporting women's issues one day, and then he turns around and recommends and empowers a woman's enslaver the next. He must choose one or the other, he cannot support women's reproductive rights AND the pol Gene Taylor.

I AM ATTACKING DailyKos as lacking commitment to women's issues. I say they do nothing but MOVE THE LIPS! Armando is no progressive. He's nothing but a flunky, a party hack.

And make no mistake about this, if you're a woman, Daily Kos does not give a shit about you. So you better just STFU and vote the way the great armando© says.

Or come over to our side and lets talk about how democrats used to be progressive, but no longer are. They're just republican light.

We're going to find a way to do something about it.

Oh and Armando? Ted Kennedy is holding for your call ::::not::::

BTW, there was a comment to that slobbery pro Gene Taylor posting, from a self identified Mississippian: Hot Throbbing Okra

I'm with Harvey (none / 0)

on this one. And for the record, I am from "down here"; I live and work in Mississippi. Taylor has been a Democrat in name only.

He is rabidly anti-women's reproductive rights, and has been very strongly opposed to gay rights. He has been a vocal advocate for the war, and I find his comments lately about how there have not been enough National Guard troops available for hurricane relief very hypocritical (and don't believe his flag-waving constituents aren't noticing either).

He sided with credit card companies on the bankruptcy bill. He is about as pro-death penalty as they come in DC. His record on environmental issues sucks. And it goes on and on.

There is a reason this guy is a Democrat representing the 4th District in Mississippi... he isn't really a Democrat. His base would dump him in a second if he became anything other than what he currently is. When his party needed him last year, he didn't exactly stick his neck out and stump for Kerry around here, as the Swift-Boat Liars shoveled their dung.

Sure, he's pissed now about the hurricane response, because he has to be. Most of the voters in his district lost something in the storm, and they are angry that the federal response has not been fast enough, contrary to what Haley Barbour has publicly stated.

I wonder how Taylor feels about that bankruptcy vote now? I suppose this is what it has come down to now for the Democratic Party: ignore a candidate's stand on the issues as long as he/she can win elections and are willing to call himself/herself a Democrat.

LOL when Eric Massa, candidate for NY-29 (and endorsed by Clark) was given a diary intro a couple months ago at Kos... he dodged and weaved rather awkwardly over issues of reproductive rights, and literally fled at questions to do with gays in the mil... Massa is also former Republican and ret mil officer (fine but I am wary in this militaristic world to say nothing of MIC)

WELL, at Massa's site, Gene Taylor was a couple clicks in, a big photo of him greeting and endorsing Massa in his DC office. Bingo. Massa will be pro life, pro mil intervention (they all say they oppose or opposed Iraq War... duh, too late now).

sorry for the length of the post, but the Taylors and Massas and their facilitators bother me, not for political opinion (rumor is America is free... LOL) but FOR AGENDA AND FOR LIES.

that happens while I'm at work, and this makes two days in a row. bay, if you and mg keep this up I might just have to quit my job.

But it really isn't very ladylike of you to air that nice Mr. Taylor's dirty BVDs in public when you know perfectly well that Katrina changed everything. This unfortunate faux pas demonstrates a profound lack of innate feminine delicacy on your part, because he does have a "D" after his name, and so many people seem to feel that he makes a nice impression on TV.

Yes, yes, of course I realize that Mr. Taylor does have an unfortunate tendency to gag just the tiniest little bit when he has to pronounce the "A word," but I'm sure that we could all overlook his gentlemanly reticence on that point in the interest of Democratic unity.

Now is the time for all "good girls" to come to the aid of their party.
